Men’s Fall State Program
Rule # 1: All teams must register as an Illinois Rec + team in order to participate. Rule # 1 A: All teams must have their roster approved by Mike Peura and listed on line at www.usssa.com Open to Elite D, D and E teams, only.
Note:
If a
participating
team is using their summer roster they must still register as an indoor team but if
choose to have all points earned will be applied to their summer total. A team
wanting to do this must make it known at the time they register as a Rec + team. 2010 Fall Playing Rules: All 2010 Illinois USSSA Men’s Class D playing rules apply with the following exceptions: A: All hitters will be given a courtesy foul (same as national rule)
B:
One team home run
will be permitted with any additional over the fence
home runs being an
end of inning out with that batter being eligible to hit
each time his turn to bat
comes up for the remainder of the game. 2010 Fall State: A team may participate if they meet one of the two following requirements ONLY. 1. The team plays in a sanctioned USSSA Fall league 2. A team has participated in one of the six qualifying tournament for the 2010 Fall State. In each of the six qualifiers a prize pool of $100.00 per team entered will be used to supply paid state tournament entry fee and gift certificates to the top finishing teams. The State tournament will have a prize pool of $150.00 per team, which will also be paid out in gift certificates to Shirts and Logos.com. The 2010 Illinois USSSA Fall State Champion team will receive team jackets (their choice of available colors) as individual prize for being on a State Championship team. All gift certificates earned in qualifying tournament play will be hand delivered to the team at the 2010 fall state tournament. All gift certificates earned at the fall state tournament will be handed to the team at their conclusion of play at the 2010 Illinois USSSA Fall State Tournament. The 2010 Illinois USSSA Fall State Champion (team) will be allowed a reasonable amount of time to pick out colors, numbers and sizes (for team jackets). If your team has earned a gift certificate through a qualifying tournament and for some reason cannot play at the 2010 Illinois USSSA Fall State Tournament, your gift certificate will be mailed to your manager after the conclusion of the Illinois USSSA 2010 Fall State Tournament.
