Winner receives National berth and top 3 teams qualify for State Tournament. Note: If 16 teams or more, 2 National berths and 4 State berths will be awarded. Six (6) National berths will be awarded to the teams with the highest accumulative points based on the order of finish in Illinois and N.I.T.’s. Two (2) teams each from North, Central and & Southern Illinois will be awarded unpaid National berths. All Northern teams’ roster additions, deletions and tournament confirmations by email to Mike Peura and Southern IL to Norm Faulkner. 
No (0) Homeruns in the Men’s D program. No additional penalty for a HR just an OUT. Teams must play in the State and National Tournament to be eligible to participate in the World Tournament.
Teams may qualify for the World Tournament by the following; At Large berth, State Tournament Champion, Point System, NIT or Windy City Major Invitational. 
D Elite Teams – The D Elite teams are restricted to Illinois tournaments at D Elite or higher. These teams will be allowed to participate in the Class D NIT’s, Class D Nationals and/or World Tournament. These teams will be permitted to attend out of state Class D tournaments with Mike Peura’s and Norm Faulkner's (Southern IL teams) approval. 
Note: All teams must have their roster on ISTS (www.usssa.com) prior to participation in any Illinois tournament. Directions to “Add a roster online” are on a thumbprint.

2012 Tournaments

Effective January 1, 2012, all Slow Pitch teams that enter an event AND pay the event fee online via credit card through the www.usssa.com web site will receive an additional 25 points at the completion of the event.
