USSSA Tournaments qualify
teams directly to the World Series.
No other tournament progression is required except in 11U & 13U. 11U & 13U
must participate in a State Tournament. If they can absolutely not
participate in their own age they may play in a higher age State Tournament.

World Series tournaments to
include; 6U & 8U Coach/Pitch, 7U & 8U Machine Pitch, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U,
14U, 15U, 16U, 18U and Women’s (18 and over).

– 43’ pitching distance for 15U/16U/18U & Women’s programs. 35’ pitching for
8U, 9U and 10U programs.

– 18 & Over program is now referred
to Women’s Program – It is no longer required that 18 & Over teams must play
in their State Tournament prior to participation in the World Series.
Jewelry is allowed in the Women’s program, only.

Any player who is 17 years old shall be eligible to participate in the
Adult/Open Women’s Program (formerly 18 & Over).

Guaranteed 5 games for all
World Series play. 3 games of pool play and double elimination. Except;
Women’s, 4 game guarantee.

Any team may participate
outside their geographical area in World Series tournaments. You are not
restricted to your own Region.

Teams are classified on
skill level not school district.

National Team Ranking points
for all Illinois USSSA Tournament & League participation. USSSA
National Ranking Points are used for seeding into the World Series pool
play.

Most Illinois tournaments
have an automatic team medical insurance program for the weekend. (contact
Tournament Director)

Affordable Team Insurance
program that is not restricted to USSSA only, tournaments and/or practices.

Team yearly membership fee
is $25 if registered with the Tournament or State Director, otherwise $30 if
you register direct with
www.usssa.com. Season is from August 1st thru July 31st,
you pay this fee only once.

Play – (Optional) –
Designated Hitter, 2 Additional Players for the 10th & 11th
batters, Re-entry, courtesy runner for the pitcher and/or catcher.

All Umpires who work a USSSA
league or tournament must be USSSA registered. All Umpires receive a free
Accidental death, Dismemberment, Dental and Medical Expense Policy. Covers
all legal defenses at no charge. Coverage is secondary but becomes primary
if no other insurance is in force. There is no deductible for this
policy.

USSSA sanctioned leagues may
qualify league Champions to the World Series if a minimum of 2 USSSA
tournaments is played and one of these is a State Tournament.

Host teams of a USSSA
qualifier can advance to the World Series if they participate in at least 2
more Illinois USSSA tournaments and one of these is a State Tournament.

Teams qualifying in Fall
State Tournaments may advance the following season to their respective World
Series if they participate in at least 2 more Illinois USSSA tournaments
which include a State Tournament.

4 At Large berths (bids) in
each class and age group to be awarded to the World Series to teams that has
played in at least 3 USSSA sanctioned tournaments and have the highest
accumulative points.
