2008 Fastpitch Tournament Locations and Dates

You DO NOT have to play in a USSSA State Tournament to accept the World Series berth although we hope you do participate to gain additional National Ranking points to be used for seeding at the World Series. The below listed Illinois USSSA tournaments will use 2 umpires per game, including pool play. The only exceptions will include; 10U pool play and in the event there may be an emergency/illness.

Metal spikes/cleats are prohibited in the USSSA Youth Programs.
Metals are allowed in the Adult/18 & Over Programs.

NOTE: The above tournaments are all World Series Qualifiers and all game guarantees are based on weather permitting.

NOTE: At Large Bids to the World Series will be awarded to teams that have played in at least 3 USSSA sanctioned tournaments and have the highest accumulative points which must include participation in a State Tournament in Illinois. Points will be awarded for every game won in an Illinois tournament, based on the order of finish. The more tournaments you play, the more points you will earn for an At-Large World Series berth. There will be at least 4 World Series berths awarded in each class and age Division. The teams with the highest accumulative points that have met the above requirements 2 weeks prior to the deadline of the World Series will be awarded the berths.

NOTE: All teams must be USSSA registered for the 2008 season. You may register with Brenda Paulson prior to tournament participation or include $25 with entry fee with first tournament. The tournaments include Class “A” and Class “B” World Series berths. Number of berths awarded is dependent on number of entries, exceptions are so noted in the above.
