2012 Illinois USSSA
Summer State Tournaments
Below are the
Illinois USSSA State Tournaments/Championships for the 2012 season.
New Out of State teams may play in the IL
State Tournaments but must play Class A State Tournaments if they do not have
any IL USSSA history.
All teams advancing to a World Series must play
in an Illinois State Tournament
of their class or may play in an Illinois State Tournament of a higher
age/classification to accept a World Series berth. This accommodates the team
which may have a scheduling conflict. Teams may play in more than one State
Tournament to receive more valuable National Ranking Points.
Exception: A State Tournament is not
required for the Womens World Series (18 & Over)
and the Class C World Series.
All teams that accepted a Fall/Winter World Series
berth or teams that will attain a World Series berth thru hosting a tournament
or receiving an At Large Berth must play at least 2 more USSSA tournaments and
one of these MUST be a State Tournament.
